Applications as to acquisition of the citizenship of Latvia through naturalization accepted in the regional branches of the Naturalization Board as of February 1, 1995.

About 42,2% Latvian citizenship pretendents have passed the examination of proficiency in the Latvian language, 77,3% have passed the examination of the history of Latvia.
All the people been granted the citizenship of Latvia accordance with degrees of Cabinet of Ministers, including 18 underage children.
